Feisty Silver (Coho) salmon enter the Kenai each year in late July. These fish range from 8-20 pounds. Silver fishing really takes off from August through early October, a time frame over which two separate runs occur. Imagine a crisp autumn morning on the river amid flaming fall foliage. The three fish per day limit affords you the chance for some spectacular fishing action. Silver fishing is exciting and fun at its best.
