The bright red Anchorage Trolley is the fastest, most fun way to get your bearings in Alaska's biggest city. This fully narrated, one-hour, 15-mile loop rolls past all of Anchorage's cultural and historic highlights — Ship Creek salmon runs, downtown landmarks, 1964 earthquake damage at Earthquake Park, and scenic Cook Inlet overlooks where Denali sometimes peeks out on clear days more than 150 miles north. You'll even stop at Lake Hood, the world's busiest floatplane base, where bush pilots take off and land every few minutes on their way to remote fishing lodges and cabins.
The guides are reliably funny and packed with local history, and the open-air windows make for great photos at every stop. It's ideal on your first day in Anchorage because you'll spot everything you want to come back to on foot later — the Coastal Trail, Ulu Factory, downtown art galleries, and the legendary Saturday Weekend Market at 3rd and E. Tours run from early May through late September, departing roughly every hour on the hour from 4th & F Street downtown. Every ticket even includes a complimentary coupon book with over $100 in additional traveler savings, which stacks nicely on top of the TourSaver discount you're already getting.
Google Review
We had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our driver had great knowledge, you can see the love he had for what he did and for Alaska. Beautiful experience to learn, explore and connect with people and nature.

Tripadvisor Review
We had some time to kill in Anchorage so we jumped on the trolley downtown. It's a nice way to spend an hour and see parts of the town we wouldn't have otherwise. Our guide Alice was hilarious - I did not have a song about roadkill on my bingo card. It was an informative and enjoyable way to see the city.

Frequently Asked Questions
These pages are designed to be your one-stop reviews hub. Each of the six attraction reviews is written from firsthand experience and updated for the 2026 season — covering what to expect, who it's best for, how long to plan, and how much you can save with a TourSaver coupon. We also recommend cross-checking with recent Google and TripAdvisor reviews; just look for ratings posted within the last 12 months for the most accurate picture of current service.
TourSaver offers three options for 2026: the Statewide package (the complete collection), a SouthCentral & Interior Alaska package (over$12,000 in savings value), and an Inside Passage package (over $3,000 in savings value). Pricing is published on the TourSaver.com order page, and one redeemed coupon typically covers the cost.
Each coupon has a unique book number. You present the coupon (in print or in the app) at the venue's ticket desk — for example, at the Alyeska Tram counter, the Alaska SeaLife Center admission desk, or the Portage sales desk. Some offers require you to mention the coupon at booking; check each listing's fine print before you travel.
Yes. The Alaska Zoo, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Anchorage Trolley, Portage Glacier Cruise, Alaska SeaLife Center, and Alyeska Aerial Tram are all included in the SouthCentral & Interior Alaska coupon collection. The Statewide package includes this collection plus the Inside Passage coupons.
Generally no — TourSaver offers are not combinable with other promotions, and some have blackout dates, capacity limits, or require advance reservations. Each coupon in the book and app lists its specific restrictions and valid dates.
Many travelers love the app because it's always in your pocket, shows a map of every offer, and never gets left in the hotel. Others prefer the tactile print book for gifting or planning. The good news: both formats are supported, and your unique book number works across devices.
